Range Repair Update In Phase One, the lead remediation company is scheduled to arrive and begin work on Wednesday April 12. Their work should take one week. Phase 2 includes rebuilding and expanding the SRB, as well as work on both the 50 yd and 100m berms. If all goes well, phase 2 will begin immediately after Phase 1 is completed. Phase 2 should take 2 weeks. I’m going to close both ranges from April 12 until May 10 to account for any delays, including, but not limited to our variable spring weather. As the times approach and the work progresses, I will keep everyone informed and update the calendar. Hopefully the work is done before May 10, but I’d hate to have something scheduled and then not have the ranges available. Unless I post otherwise, the shotgun fields will be closed during the week while work in in progress for the workers safety. The shotgun fields SHOULD be open on the weekend. Someone left a circular saw at the range after they left from the work party, if you have lost your circular saw contact Taylor at [email protected] you will be asked to identify the make of the circular saw to verify ownership and then we will figure out how to get the tool back to you

Work Party! Need service hours?  Tired of hassling with old dilapidated frames?  Come out and support your club and earn some service hours next Saturday September 4th at 10:00.  We will be rebuilding all of the frames and replacing some of the pipes in the ground. So, bring your basic carpentry tools, including (but not limited to) circular saws and miter saws, and drills/drivers. Send me a note at [email protected] if you happen to have a power post hole digger, or auger, that you’re willing to bring.  Please be aware, in order to get this done as soon as possible and minimize range down time, this work party will run concurrently with the September bowling pin match, so bring your eye and ears! Work party… Saturday, April 24th, starting at 10am – until we finish… This is a maintenance and cleanup work party.. We will be doing; Berms on the 50m and 100m range, Rebuilding frames for the 50m and 100m ranges, Redo the wall with sealer, You will need.. Woodworking tools.. circular saws, cord less drills, saws, hammers, etc… Landscaping tools, shovels, picks, rakes, etc…  Painting / sealer tools… If you have some free time this is a great opportunity to help out the club and make a few service hours. ASC Members, The work party for Nov 1st, has been rescheduled for Nov. 15th, due to weather. As in the last message, Starting at 0930… Will be doing general range repairs, clean up and investigating enhancements to the shotgun facilities. On Saturday, February 15th 2020 , starting at 12:00pm,  we will be having a work party. This work party will include building new frames and general clean up of the range. You will need… Tools for building and repairing the frames.. Circular saws, cord less drills / saws, Hammers, extension cords and any other woodworking tools. Don’t forget work gloves and ear protection. Remember service hours for the year are due by March. This is a great opportunity to help out the club and earn a few service hours.
