This Saturday the defensive shooting match is back weather permitting we will be starting set up at 8:30 with the shooters brief at 9:00 a.m. to compete in the match you must attend the safety brief we will be shooting the simplified categories of pistol, rifle, shotgun, and two gun ( pistol and rifle) Entry fee for members is $5 for non-members $10 this includes one category additional categories will be two extra dollars we ask people to please limit initial category purchase to only three if there is time in the day and people still wishing to shoot additional categories can be added later, the stages for this match are in the attached PDF for any questions please contact me at [email protected] DSM Stages 1-3-2026 I look forward to seeing everyone out at the match
Just a quick little post due to the proximity of the 5th Saturday of this month in relation to Thanksgiving and the fact that all of the match directors will be spending time with family the defensive shooting match will not be held this month the next defensive match will be January 3rd weather permitting
With the excessive amount of rain that we’ve had and more expected Friday I am here by canceling the defensive match on May 31st because the expected muddy conditions of the range will not allow us to safely hold the match the next defensive shooting match weather permitting will be August 30th I apologize to those that were planning on attending but we must prioritize safety

Due to rain and the soft and muddy conditions at the range the defensive shooting match for Saturday February 1st is officially canceled I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to anyone that was planning to attend but in the name of safety we feel that it is necessary to cancel the match the next defensive shooting match will be March 29th with hopefully drier conditions and warmer weather
