Just a quick little post due to the proximity of the 5th Saturday of this month in relation to Thanksgiving and the fact that all of the match directors will be spending time with family the defensive shooting match will not be held this month the next defensive match will be January 3rd weather permitting
With the excessive amount of rain that we’ve had and more expected Friday I am here by canceling the defensive match on May 31st because the expected muddy conditions of the range will not allow us to safely hold the match the next defensive shooting match weather permitting will be August 30th I apologize to those that were planning on attending but we must prioritize safety
The next defensive shooting match will be this Saturday May 31st set up time 8:00 a.m. Shooters brief 8:30 to compete in the competition you must attend the shooter’s brief entry fee is $5 for members $10 for non-members each additional category is $2 the stages are in the attached PDF I hope to see everyone out there Saturday DSM Stages 5-31-2025

The next defensive shooting match will be this Saturday 3/29. Weather should be prefect with highs in the mid 70s. Set up is at 8:00 a.m. with the safety brief at 8:30 a.m. You must attend the safety brief to compete in the match. Due to rain and the soft and muddy conditions at the range the defensive shooting match for Saturday February 1st is officially canceled I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to anyone that was planning to attend but in the name of safety we feel that it is necessary to cancel the match the next defensive shooting match will be March 29th with hopefully drier conditions and warmer weather
