Independence Day Pin Match

Just a quick reminder that we will have our July pin match this Saturday July 1st. Set up begins at 9:30 AM. Sorry this is nowhere near as verbose, or eloquent, as Steven’s posts. But he’s unavailable and won’t be there Saturday. Not sure what we’re up to? Check out a desciption of our matches at https://airfieldshootingclub.org/airfield-shooting-club-programs/asc-bowling-pin-matches/. The rules are at https://airfieldshootingclub.org/bowling-pin-rules-and-information/. I hope to see you there Saturday morning. Art Schoner ASC MO and Assist Chief Pin Head

June Bowling Pin Match Results

Gentle Shooters, I regret that I am traveling for work today. There was so much at the match to talk about. Perhaps there will be a Flyer article. I have to get on a plane now, and I made the executive decision that you would rather have scores than narrative. The next match is July 1st. We’re Back – The Excuse Free Bowling Pin Match June 3

Gentle Shooters, Like you, I am giddy with anticipation for the first match of the painfully delayed 2023 Pin Shooting season. That pain resolves on June 3rd. There has never been an ASC match like the one we are going to hold. The Excuse Free match will begin at 9:30 AM in pastoral Wakefield Virginia at the newly renovated Airfield Shooting Club’s 50 meter shooting complex. Shooters can expect a completely flat, dry and level range with brand new flat tables, aligned in three dimensions to within mere centimeters of true. The pins for this match have been curated from some of the finest dumpsters in the 757. Your perfectly placed impacts will vigorously remove these pins from these tables with ease. Likewise, you have had two extra months of practice, so your match directors are expecting record scores. All previous excuses are declared null and void for this match. You have one week to think up new ones! Rules have not changed for this year and can be found at https://airfieldshootingclub.org/bowling-pin-rules-and-information/ Specific questions may directed at our assistant adjunct Pinhead 3rd class at [email protected]. I’d be truly remiss if I didn’t say thanks to all of the club members …

Just show up, help out, and have a good time! Art ASC MO and Chief Pin Head 3rd Class

No Foolin’ The 2023 Bowling Pin Season Begins this Saturday

Gentle Shooters, Yea, they are letting us do that shoot at the bowling pins thing again! And right now, it is the only way you get to shoot at anything from a distance of 25 feet at our range. On behalf of the bowling pin match directors of the Airfield Shooting Club, it is gives me profound joy to announce the commencement of the 2023 Bowling Pin Match season. You, yes you, Gentle Shooter are invited to the Airfield Shooting Club range in sumptuous Wakefield Virginia this Saturday for a 9AM set up. Don’t be foolish this April First, go to the pin match. No sweat, just email our associate, adjunct, intern pinhead at [email protected]. Not sure about the email thing? Call Art at home (948) 867-5309. See you Saturday. Steven
