ASC 2020-2021 Club Renewals

ASC Announce

Hello ASC Members. Your 2020-2021 renewal forms have been sent out. Most of you will receive it via email.  If you don’t see it, check your spam/ junk folder. Sometimes it gets stuck in there. A few of you will get it via U.S. mail. Should be a few days depending on the U.S. mail. If you have any problems or questions, Please contact [email protected] ** Renewal Due Date ** You will have from March 31st to June 1st to pay your membership dues and other costs owed to ASC. If you pay your membership dues after June 1st through August 31st there will be a penalty fee of $25.00. After September 1st, you will be required to re-join the club. This will include attending a board meeting, redoing member orientation, reviewing club rules and regulations, and paying prorated dues as well as the $50.00 initiation fee. The ASC gate combination will be changed after the April Board of Directors meeting. You will receive a new membership card and combination(s) after your invoice is paid and requirements are met. Note. If you are not renewing your ASC Membership this year, Please email the [email protected]  to let us know.

ASC Service Rifle & Zombie Match – Sat, Jan 11th @ 9am

Happy New Year everyone,…The ASC Service Rifle & Zombie Match will take place this Saturday, January11th @ 9:00am. First match of  the year.. It’s going to be warm and overcast, should be a good day to shoot. Info: ASC’s Service Rifle & Zombie Matches are open to all ASC members, guest and anyone wanting to shoot Service Rifles, High power rifles, Traditional rifles, Modern sporters and practice for the coming Zombie Apocalypse! Event will take place on the on the 100 Meter Range. Check-in will begin at 8:45am with safety brief at 9am. followed by the relays. Match fee is $5.00 for members and $10.00 for non-members. You don’t have to be experienced at rifle competition to shoot in our rifle matches. The event is expected to be over by noon but actual completion time is based on the number of competitors.  Need more info contact us here….

The ASC Service Rifle & Zombie Match will take place this Saturday, December 14th @ 9:00am. Last one for the year.. It’s going to be cold, overcast with 50/50 chance of showers..  should be fine to shoot, but the targets may get a bit wet… 😉 Info: ASC’s Service Rifle & Zombie Matches are open to all ASC members, guest and anyone wanting to shoot Service Rifles, High power rifles, Traditional rifles, Modern sporters and practice for the coming Zombie Apocalypse! The ASC Service Rifle & Zombie Match will take place this Saturday, November 9th @ 9:00am… To honor Veterans Day we will be having a match this Saturday on the 100m range .. Why not bring out your old WW1 and WW2 war horses..  We may also have a few Zombies left over from Halloween to shoot. 😉 Info: ASC’s Service Rifle & Zombie Matches are open to all ASC members, guest and anyone wanting to shoot Service Rifles, High power rifles, Traditional rifles, Modern sporters and practice for the coming Zombie Apocalypse! Ken Grover Memorial Open (NSSA) Skeet shoot … Oct 26th – 28th 2019

ASC Announce / ASC Event

Skeet shooters… On October 26th – 28th the Airfield Shooting Club will be holding the Ken Grover Memorial Open.. A NSSA registered skeet shooting competition. If you need to get targets in, here is your chance… If you are not a member of the NSSA, You may join at the shoot.. The competition will have the following categories: 12 gauge 20 gauge 28 gauge 410 gauge Doubles There will be a cash prize for first place in each category. The cost is $25 per gun. In order to participate you must pre-register and be a member of NSSA. On the day of the shoot you will need; 1. Cash or check for $25 for each gun. (Checks are to be payable to Airfield Shooting Club) 2. NSSA membership card. (You may join the NSSA at the shoot, the yearly membership is $30.00) 3. Classification Sheet. The competition will allow mixed guns each day so you may compete on any of the 3 days. Ties for Gun Championships will be determined by long runs from the front or back whichever is longer. ASC Service Rifle & Zombie Match will take place this Saturday, October12th @ 9:00am… Will start at the normal time this month. Weather should be nice and partly cloudy.. Please be aware! the Boy Scout Troop will be using the 50yd range, Skeet range and Bow range. So there will be kids and scout leaders around.. The 100m rage will be open for the match. Volunteers needed for 4-H District Shoot on Sat. Jun. 29th, 2019

ASC Announce / Service Hours Opportunity

Volunteers still needed for the 4-H District Shoot on Saturday June 29th, 2019 from 7am – 6pm .. Position needed for Saturday: Admin – to check in shooters RSO on 50M RSO on 100M Escort on 50M – Walks with shooter w/uncased rifle. Escort on 100M – Walks with shooter w/uncased rifle. Cleanup after the match. If you are interested in volunteering and earning service hours please contact Jim at [email protected] or contact us Additionally, if there are members willing to help with prep(work party) for this event, Come out on Friday 28th at about 4pm.
