Pond Brothers will be repairing the wall between the ranges on Wednesday and Thursday (13-14th) of next week.
This of course will require the closing of both rages. Hopefully the weather will hold and this will be completed on time.

It’s going to be a bit warmer then last month and cloudy, but should be a nice day to shoot some rifles.
ASC’s Service Rifle & Zombie Matches are open to all ASC members, guest and anyone wanting to shoot Service Rifles, High power rifles, Traditional rifles, Modern sporters and practice for the coming Zombie Apocalypse!
Event will take place on the on the 100 Meter Range.
Check-in will begin at 8:45 with safety brief at 9:00. followed by the relays.
Match fee is $5.00 for members and $10.00 for non-members.
You don’t have to be experienced at rifle competition to shoot in our rifle matches. The event is expected to be over by noon but actual completion time is based on the number of competitors.
Work Party – Saturday, January 19th 2019
We will be building frames for the range and insulating the water pump shed.
You will need.. circular saws, cord less drills / saws, Hammers and any other woodworking tools.
If you have some free time this is a great opportunity to help out the club and make a few service hours before the end of the membership year in March.

Yes gentle shooters,
This Saturday, December 1st. a day that will not live in infamy, will be you last chance to shoot bowling pins at the Airfield match until April 6, 2019. Yes, that does sound like a long time to wait. So, yes, you should come out to the range this weekend and shoot bowling pins with all of your friends. We will be there at 9:30 to greet you. If you would like directions to the range or to brush up on the rules, you can find all of that good stuff at www.airfieldshootingclub.org. If you have specific questions, we have an assistant chief pinhead you can contact at [email protected]. He isn’t all that knowledgeable, but he is friendly enough and hey, you can’t smell bad breath in an email. right?
