Shooting is among the 25 core sports listed by the IOC Executive Board for the 2020 Olympic Games. “Shooting remains a core sport world wide, as well as one of the most universal disciplines. The ISSF represents 161 National Federations, and athletes from 108 countries qualified to compete in shooting at the 2012 Games; shooting ranked fourth among all Olympic sports in this principal measure of universality.” Secretary General Schreiber reminded. Vincent Hancock Wins Skeet Gold for U.S.

148 out of 150 clays hit to win the Gold! The 23-year-old from Columbus, Georgia, added the gold medal to the one he won four years ago at Beijing, becoming the first Skeet shooter to win back-to-back titles. Hancock also broke his own Olympic record, missing just two shots and firing a perfect 25 in the final to register 148.
