Greetings Gentle Shooters, I’d like to apologize for the tardy scores this month. The hotel I was staying at over the weekend had a broken printer. The screen on my laptop is pretty small, so I was not able to compile the scores until this evening when I arrived home. I’d like to point out that we have yet another record for lowest all time carbine string at 2.24 seconds. I am getting tired of having to congratulate Mr. Schoner month after month. Art, can you get under two seconds and end this madness? Greetings Gentle Shooters, Verizon Fios has resurrected my internet service and so now you may have your match results. Congratulations to Dale Mullin on taking his first five gun aggregate win. I’d like to point out that we actually had a tie for second place in Major this month. I don’t remember a tie ever before. We certainly didn’t know about the tie at the end of the match, so there can’t be an Olympic moment where folks joyously share the silver medal. Besides, we are Americans and there have to winners! Well it is my circus so it’s my monkey and by decree, the winner is Brian Howell. His fastest string was almost a half second faster than the loser. Greetings Gentle Shooters, Sometimes a pinhead, like a pin itself, is knocked down but not completely out. In this case, they are still able to deliver results. Art would be crestfallen if I didn’t mention he set another record with his carbine. You know this isn’t going to happen every single month, right? For the rest of us, there is always August. The scores are below and we will reconvene next month. Gentle Shooters, Just a quick reminder that we will have a Bowling Pin Match on Saturday, June 5th at 9:30 at Airfield Shooting Club range. Please be prompt as we have a pistol class that will need the range shortly after we finish. Rules for the match, as well as directions to the range are available at airfieldshootingclub.org. Individual questions may be directed to your convenient local pinhead at [email protected]. Also, we do not need anyone to go to the bowling alley today as previously emailed. They only have a few pins and a member will be retrieving them today. Steven

It was truly a beautiful day at the range. I am not certain why we are not drawing more shooters. Perhaps it is the availability of ammunition. We can’t fix that, but if it is something else, we’d sure like to know. Reach out to our resident pinhead in training at [email protected]. For those of your lucky enough to make it to the range today, the scores are posted below. The next match is Saturday, June 5th.
