Monthly Rimfire Challenges – Fun for All Skill Levels!
Attention all shooters and families! Join us for our MonthlyRimfire Challenges, an exciting series designed to test your skills, improveyour fundamentals, and introduce you to various shooting competitions—all with.22LR pistols, rifles (semi-automatic or bolt-action), and revolvers! Rimfire Challenge announcementswill be posted 1 - 2 weeks prior, describing the featured event for themonth.
What to Expect:
- Engaging Challenges:
Test your speed and precision on shooting steel, metal madness, knock down silhouettes, and Know-Your-Limits, refine your accuracy with ARA and IBS style benchrest shooting, and tackle fun, family-friendly new obstacles.
- Beginner-Friendly:
These events are perfect for newcomers! Each challenge is designed to help shooters of all levels develop their skills and learn the basics of competitive shooting.
- Family-Oriented Fun:
Bring the whole family! Our inclusive challenges focus on fostering a safe, welcoming environment for everyone. Great place to make new friends!
Why Participate?
- Improve your shooting fundamentals in a variety of scenarios.
- Gain confidence and experience with .22LR firearms in a supportive setting.
- Explore different shooting disciplines in a relaxed, fun atmosphere.
Event Details:
- When: 3rd Sunday of every month throughout the year. Range Set Up 7-8:30 am Safety Meeting @8:30 am, Match 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
- What to Bring: A .22LR firearm (pistol, rifle, or revolver), ammunition, eye and ear protection, and a willingness to have fun!
- Event Fees apply: Members $5.00, Guests $10.00. Please bring the correct change.
These monthly challenges are a great way to sharpen yourskills, try something new, and meet fellow shooting enthusiasts. Whether you'rea seasoned shooter or just starting, there’s something for everyone. Join thefun and see how much you can improve!

NSSA Registered Skeet Shooting Competition (Skeet Field Reserved)
NSSA Registered Skeet Shooting Competition (Skeet Field Reserved)
March 22, 2025 - March 24, 2025
The competition will have all categories: 12 Ga, 20 Ga, 28 Ga, .410 bore, and Doubles.
There will be a cash prize for first place in each category.
The cost is $30.00 per gun.
In order to participate you please notify intent to shoot (day, gun, etc.) and be a member of NSSA. Walkups are subject to waiting and possibly shifting to Sunday or Monday.
On the day of the shoot you will need:
1. Cash or check for a full amount for each gun. Checks are to be payable to Airfield Shooting Club
2. NSSA membership card. You may join the NSSA at the shoot, the yearly membership is $30.00. Or you can just shoot for fun, not reporting the scores. Cost is $20 for just targets.
3. Classification Sheet.
The competition will allow mixed guns each day so you may compete on any of the 3 days. Once we have all shooters sending their preferences, a draft schedule will be made available to all.
Ties for Gun Championships will be decided by long runs from the front or back whichever is longer.
