Hopefully you have all lined up at your favorite retailer and gotten the two or three boxes of ammo that you have been rationed and saved it for the Bowling Pin Match this Saturday, May 4th at the ASC range. We would really appreciate some help setting up at 9:15 so that we can be ready to shoot at 10 AM. The weekend forcast looks great with seasonable temperatures and no rain in sight.
Pins will roll this weekend at the Great Spring Pin Shootout at the Airfield Shooting Club Range. Set up is at 9:15 on Saturday, April 6th and the pins go down starting at 10 AM. We should have nice weather and I plan to grill some burgers after the shoot. So come on out the range, shoot and eat!
Just when the pins thought it was safe to come out of hiding, the 2013 Bowling Pin Season begins again this Saturday, March 2nd at the Airfield Range. You can't blame the pins for thinking that way. After all, we have brand new tables and legs thanks to our crack building team of Rich Hoalland, Cort Tompkins, Paul and Wendy Ruffle, Jim Slee, and Art "Chopsaw" Schoner. With nary a bullet hole and no reported pin assaults since early December, what pin wouldn't be ready to come out of hiding after a long winter. Hey, pins just want to have fun after all.
The December Pin Match results are posted on the ASC web site. Happy Holidays to our shooters. We will see you in March for the beginning of the 2013 season.
We will be hosting the last Bowling Pin match of season this Saturday, December 1st at the ASC range at 9:30 AM. We are expecting very nice weather for December. There will be no match in January or February, so this is the last chance to bust pins before spring. For directions to the range or an explaination of our match, see the ASC web site at www.airfieldshootingclub.org. You may contact our pinhead at stevengordon@airfieldshootingclub.org.
Just when you thought it was safe to come out because Sandy is gone and Halloween is over, we have another problem. Our Bowling Pins have been infected by ZOMBIES! As you know, there is only one cure to thwart the attack of the killer pins. Gather up your handguns and carbines and race down the Airfirld Shooting Club range this Saturday, November 3rd before the range is completely overrun! Be there by 9:30 and bring LOTS of AMMO. Questions just ask stevengordon@airfield shootingclub.org.
