Airfield Shooting Club Announcement
Work party... Saturday, March 4th 2017, starting at 8:00 am.
This will be for making up Bowling Pin tables, Frames and General clean up.
You will need.. circular saws, cord less drills / saws, Hammers and any other woodworking tools.
If you have some free time this is a great opportunity to help out the club and make a few service hours before the end of the membership year on the March 18th..
Hello ASC Members.The 2016-2017 membership year is coming to a close. There are a few things you may need to do. Service Hours.. If you have perform some / any kind of service for club this past year.. Please email the secretary!email: email@example.comInclude your Name, Member #, Date and about how much Time you spent. This will help with calculation and processing your membership dues come March..
ASC restrooms are now back OPEN. Water has been restored to the ASC range. The 4-H Center stated that restrooms were being cleaned. Thank you for your patience.
Please note that the ASC restrooms located at the range are CLOSED until further notice. There is no running water in the restrooms due to an issue with the ASC's well. If you need to use the restroom, you will need to use the public restrooms located in the Gray Building where the 4-H main office and main dining hall are located. We are sorry for the inconvenience and are working to remedy the situation as soon as possible. Thank you.
Its that time of year again, Time to meet and speak with our Virginia Legislatures about issues that face us. The ASC wants to encourage all of our members to attend the VCDL rally in Richmond on 16 January. The Virginia Citizens Defense League (VCDL) is at the forefront of protecting your rights in Virginia and we encourage all of our members to support them as much as possible.

A WORK PARTY has been scheduled for Sunday, December 4th @ 9am
Only one range at a time will be closed.
We need to rebuild and make new target frames for all ranges.Make new target boards for the range.
If you have some free time this is a great opportunity to help out the club and make a few service hours.
We also may need for someone to pick up the cardboard target boards from Virginia Beach , VA.If you have a truck or trailer that can hold our target boards, contact the Secretary.
Attention members!The range road has been repaired and is passable to most if not all traffic.
But please be advised to drive slow and careful over the area that has been repaired (part by the creek).We do not want anyones vehicle damaged or more damage to the road.
Thanks to the Airfield 4H center and serveral members who came out, for the quick repairs!
Attention ASC Members:Due to the effects of Hurricane Matthew, the range road is not safe for travel, especially cars and low to the ground vehicles. We recommend anyone driving to the range to do so at there own risk, until the road is fix.
The Director of the 4-H Center, Mel Atkinson, has asked for volunteers to help with emergency repairs on the road. If you want to fulfill some ASC service hours, please contact the ASC Secretary at firstname.lastname@example.org
Just a friendly reminder the Ranges 50, 100 and Skeet-Trap fields wil be close to members on
Saturday, August 20th.
The Camp Family has an event going on and has rented the ranges.
There also will be no board meeting this Saturday.. It will be on the next Saturday the 27th @ 9:00am

Boy Scout Troop 368 of Newport News will be using the 50 yard Range on Saturday, August 13, 2016 from 8:00 AM-4:00 PM
